I am a stay-at-home mom with two grown daughters, a son-in-law and an 11 year-old granddaughter. And yes, they are all living at home with me and my husband. I have yet to really experience the empty nest syndrome. I think that is why I enjoy my photography so much. It’s a way for me to get away from the everyday drama that is a huge part of my home-life.
My husband and I will take off for a day or two at a time, and if we’re lucky and the girls don’t need financial help, we will be gone longer. We have fun during these times together and seeing the beauty of God’s creation. Capturing it on camera is a real joy for me. When we can’t get away, you will either find me reading a good book, working on a crochet project, or (more often than not) I will be at my computer working on post-processing my pictures or just having fun with them.
So, after many years, I can be more adventurous. (I just wish I had done this when I was younger and in better shape, lol.) I hope you can enjoy those adventures with me as you view where I’ve been.
